15) Looking back: fragile, unbroken

15 Looking back: fragile, unbroken

Meanwhile, the February 29, 2004. In recent weeks, there was in the Netherlands much attention to the report of inspection for public health, in which the file of Sylvia Millecam was used for all alternative practitioners in a bad light and ridicule. And that patients who choose alternative treatment are depicted as people who completely lost his critical judgment. Entirely wrongly, in our experience.
If Peter had kept the rules and protocols of mainstream medicine, he had lived one year shorter, because we are convinced. Thanks to information from the site of www.kanker-actueel.nl , the support of the mail group that is linked to this site, thanks to the Houtsmuller Diet , thanks to the adequate support of orthomolecular physicians, we sought and found ways to us one year additional life given that the majority was of very good quality. A year of great intensity and great events: lots of jokes, lots of good food, lots of emails and lots of cycling in Germany, in the Dolomites and the Pyrenees. Especially the ride to Cortina d'Ampezzo in the cycling club in July 2003 with the Philips Colleagues - to see a photo report http://www.cycletime.nl - Peter was a highlight.

Additionally, we had great support from many people. Kees Braam, the webmaster of this site. Of the members of the mail group. Of orthomolecular doctors. Of various medical specialists. Of the GP. And of all those relatives and friends who so often and so hospitable care of Lara have assumed, as we to Tiel, Nijmegen, Animals, Rotterdam, The Hague, Cologne and Frankfurt had. Thank you to Gretchen, Peter, and Tim Rosa, to Grace, Ronald, Robin and Maud, to Wilhelmien and Mario, to Kitty, Eric, Daniel and Rose. Thanks to the colleagues of Philips and the municipalities in the Land of Cuijk so solidait have been during the disease process.
Thanks to Christine, Birgit, Johan, Trudy and Ananda for the support of the death and farewell.
Thanks to the members of his band Dont Look Back - see http://www.dontlookback.nl - who played so beautifully parting.

He fought like a lion.
He kept control over his life and his body.
Themselves are always thinking.
Tried every situation to get something good.
Has every opportunity to enjoy the good with both hands.
And accepted, when it appeared that it was absolutely necessary, the inevitable.

Peter has a good life.
Too bad, it was so short.
