2) First visit to Ireland by Karen

dated January 18, 2003:
Report of trip to Ireland with Karen and Rinus order to clarify the CLT - Cytoluminescent Therapy and more on the personal physical conditions to Karen after her CLT treatment.

Sunday 12 January 2003 at 9.15 am we in line for the check of Aer Lingus. Yesterday we got to hear via a phone call with Dr. Ralph Moss from Ireland that the doctors who jointly CLT - Cytoluminescent therapy took care of one another, because they were sued by the Irish Medical Board because of the unauthorized practice of an 'alternative' therapy. But Ralph Moss promised us that he wanted to interview us a permit for the camera. The story begins like James Bond when we get to draw at 9.50 am at the check finally our turn and we are coolly told that we should not count. You're too late and too much luggage you have to now check in quickly. Fortunately we keep each other calm, go to the headquarters of Aer Lingus and we get it done at night with the flight of 20.20 hours if the waiting list is too long it may yet. The refusal to bring us is only due to the fact that there was an enormous crowd at the check, so we were late and after September 11, 2001 the rules were tightened. Anyone who has not been checked half hour before boarding is denied. If you have no plausible reason why you're late, you even lose your ticket. But we were able to prove that we stood in line early happy. On Sunday, we go to Schiphol, where we over the Internet a few interesting studies with CLT printed and taken to Ireland. There is already done research on this since 1984 and there are even clinical trials with humans since 1996 available with very striking results. Who has access to these trial results, a copy sent to you if OPS member are / is and if your doctor / oncologist / doctor PDT a cover letter with a rationale for why you want to see. You will need your address to give us and the cost is € 7.50 including postage etc.

At half past two in the morning we finally arrived in Killaloe, a village near Shannon. From the airport we had with a fellow taxi driver by Karen from last time (they still had his card in her purse) booked a hotel. The reception was very warm with bread and a tall glass of beer and / or tea. The night was short because we wanted to make good use of what little time.

Monday, January 13, 2003:

Around half past nine we call the doctors Porter. We have a 06-number of the wife of Dr. Maggie. Bill Porter, the attending physician of Karen. Maggie panicked response to the statement of Karen that she's in Killaloe. "Karen, I told you that you not to come. We are now abroad, and you really can not see. It's all very threatening, we have to close everything and can no longer treat or whatever. That they are abroad is simply not true turns out, but the promise of Maggie that Ralph Moss will ask us to call within ten minutes kept. Ralph tells us that despite his lawyers he strongly have discouraged an interview with us to give the camera he is willing us now to talk to, but only about CLT - Cytoluminescent therapy and not the situation in Ireland at the moment . Provided as a director on paper I confirm that I am not for the interview to be published March 1, 2003. He stressed on the phone that the situation is very worrisome, and that is certainly not Dr. Karen. Porter will see. He also emphasizes that he will give Karen any medical advice. He is not a physician but a writer of scientific articles as he explains us later. A very disappointed and Rinus Karen, but we hope in a personal meeting this still pull it off.
We conclude that orthomolecular doctor Martin Klatte, at our request and Karen come along with us in an interview the interview will do. Together we prepare for the questions.

The interview with Ralph Moss takes part for the camera and partly without a camera instead. I will try in a few sentences and a different display of this conversation, but should mention that this is purely my personal opinion. Karen and Rinus example, think there might be something different about Klatte and doctor will probably give another interpretation, it is just with the eyes and ears that listen to you and where your personal interests lie. So these sentences are entirely mypersonal account (who want an independent report of what CLT is exactly read the interview with Ralph Moss in the January issue of ODE) :

Dr. Ralph Moss makes a passionate, but also a smart PR-like 'impression on me in his story of CLT (Moss has ever been PR chief at Memorial Sloan Hospital in New York and am still very easy to deal with press and medical information, I). It is very difficult to put questions to intervene. It is a long monologue in which we can break in dribs and drabs, but if we break with a question you can immediately see that he sometimes hits his apropos.
Yet it is also very interesting what he says although most of us already know, but he confirms that the effect of CLT - Cytoluminescent therapy is carried by an extract of Spirulina platensis. The substance that is extracted from Spirulina platensis is said to be 1000 times stronger than ordinary spirulina. Mi is a bit exaggerated, but it is good. The price says Ralph Moss is $ 5 million for one pound of this fabric. One patient required more than a few grams, but it is still expensive. We have great reservations about this award because we have already heard but not yet definitively confirmed that the fabric is not so difficult to isolate from spirulina platensis. It is according to these sources, in fact, a nutritional supplement that no patent can be obtained. Have been some changes requested by the producer and patented by Ralph Moss that issued this month.
The fabric has a few special features / effects and it is very interesting. First, the function that is preferably embedded in cancer cells but also in other damaged cells. On a screen than to see where the damaged cells live for this fabric gives a fluorescent effect. Karen has already told us - see her earlier story on this page - they could see exactly where her when she was treated were metastases. This visibility of cancer / tumor means that the doctor can see exactly where the beams should be designed to destroy it with light. Add to this important function than half upwards. The fabric from the spirulina is 35 times more sensitive to light than what eg Photofrin PDT for treatment is used. Moss tells us that NASA LED light is used for healing wounds, etc. (In the NRC on Saturday, January 11, 2003 was a great article about LED light in the annex and science on the page, CLT is a newsletter Ralph Moss where he mentions the LED light). And NASA has shown that infrared radiation to more than 20 cm. penetrate the body. If you are a patient of both front and rear treated / irradiated with light reach all the cells and organs in principle, says Moss. This would not only CLT all solid tumors to destroy cancer cells but also in the bones. But Moss adds something very interesting to. He tells us that the test was done with two rats. Both rats received an identical tumor inserted. However, one rat, the tumor covered with a light-blocking fabric. Now, both rats irradiated with light. Within a few days (which is much faster in animals and in humans, I was told. Doctors can tell exactly how the ratios lie to people), the tumor was not covered in the rat was gone. But more importantly, even in rats whose tumors had covered the tumor disappeared. A few days / weeks later, but still. The fabric from the spirulina thus produces an immunological process. This means, according to Ralph Moss that the CLT - in fact all Cytoluminescent therapy can cure autoimmune disease. There are already experiments done with eg AIDS patients, according to Ralph Moss spectacular results.
Then he gives some examples of questions to our results he has seen. He tells of a patient with 22 tumors in the liver cancer is completely within two months. He also tells patients where the tumor sections death / waste of skin, etc. The stories are so spectacular that you almost can not believe. To our question whether there are patients deceased he replied evasively by Karen and Rinus, I think he correctly answered by saying that some patients have tumors that much the cancer process is just too far gone. He added however that in killing the tumor but not a problem when handling the dead tumor tissue than the beginning. As Karen, patients experience pain caused by inflammation and howmore tumor tissue, the more inflammation and more pain, they often see a lot of fluid, but also that the dead tumor tissue through the skin just falls off and breaks. This process seems to accelerate Karen underway. In her chest, probably also by the Aloe Vera ointment that she has used one week and known as the acceleration of cleansing your body, more holes / wounds which caused continuous moisture seeping out. Also, in some places her breast purple purple and almost black. Ralph Moss Karen refuses to look at, but confirms that this is a process that after CLT treatment may occur.

Just one caveat: it is quite strange that Dr. Ralph Moss says no to our doctor, while he was in his many publications it is always in the middle late. He calls himself a science writer. Karen and Rinus are very angry and feel a bit deceived by him. By pretending to be a writer of a scientific trial, he gives the impression the outside world are indeed doctor said Karen. I should add that it is quite common that doctors are not performing the research, but often describe an independent medical writer, as in this case, Dr. Ralph Moss. From different patients from the trial group (telephone and email, we have contact with some of that group), we know that Ralph Moss and the doctors never after CLT treatment in Ireland, these patients have looked back or questions made or whatever. Well not promote confidence in the CLT and a very poor aftercare or just absolutely no aftercare. Mi a very bad thing that does no good to trust in the intentions of Ralph I personally own. I think that is unfortunate, but again I give him the benefit of the doubt time being ..

Karen responds very disappointed at the refusal of Ralph Moss to look at her chest. She still tries to ask, but the answers were even more disappointing. Moss gives mi a general answer to the question whether anyone with the CLT-treatment can be helped, but Karen takes it personally. Moss says she is not all about the effects of CLT, but he is very consistent results look spectacular, but also says that not everyone is 100% will help. He calls it the restrictions they have built for admission to CLT on this page to read. Karen and Rinus take this as an answer to her personal situation and after the interview Karen responds very emotional. In tears, she experiences the words of Ralph Moss and the death sentence. I feel very uncomfortable because I really sympathize with Karen, but something else have been interpreted a number of rulings by Ralph Moss as a positive explanation for Karen. But I also want to do justice to her emotions and the space. Finally is her hope for further life on the line and that is very different from my position. Later, Karen and Rinus but also listen to my vision and can be more nuanced look at some statements.

The cameras could keep on running, but when we ask about how to proceed and the situation in Ireland is the camera. Moss and begins to explain how this will go now. I must say that I can not and will not all write what we know, but in short, it means that within two / three months in other European countries, the CLT-therapy is continued. Ralph Moss has set up a company that will coordinate everything and all rights of the extract has bought from the producer. We are working on the CLT through him to the Netherlands and Karen will be there with her if necessary to establish a center to play major role in coming hopefully. But there is still much to be settled and Karen and some who will help her to make a decision whether to Ralph Moss is on this basis would continue. Because this actually gives Ralph Moss in his independent position and is committed to the CLT-treatment and creates a monopoly. I have personally much trouble, but still give him the benefit of the doubt because he indicates that this is the only way to this treatment available for everyone to get. Should it prove to be pure profit, I documented material that at least I can make it clear to the world what is possible for games to be played. But this again in the coming months / weeks to be seen.

Exhausted we hang evenings in the restaurant, and are all a little confused. Lots of information, even positive, but many questions. Martin leaves againNetherlands. We are still two days.

Tuesday 14 of January 2003:

With Karen and the camera shooting what we in the village of Killaloe. Karen lights two candles in the church. A candle for the father of Monique (a woman who is a member of the mail group and her father gets a Wednesday liver perfusion) and a candle for all others from the mail group. Then we try to make an appointment with Dr. Carmedy. The general practitioner and specialist PDT Killaloe area, which every day in October Karen examined and supervised. Through his secretary will be communicated from two separate rooms, but Dr. Carmedy indicates that he did not see or medical advice because of a lawsuit against him and any interference with a CLT-treated patient may harm him. January 29 has such appeal after Karen's welcome. This too is a disappointment, although Karen much more positive about this doctor thinks and speaks. She understands and accepts this is it.
We go to Tinarana for recording, the estate and hotel where Karen stayed in October. Karen and Rinus come completely relax. We do see a large moving van are in an outbuilding on the estate and later we hear that there is the Porters stayed that day and just leave Ireland / Killaloe. We thought all this and are deliberately not entered into the confrontation.
Back at the hotel there is a message that we welcome tomorrow with Kitty, a 40 year old woman in the same week as Karen was treated with CLT for her rectal cancer. We call some of the Netherlands, getting some more interesting information about CLT and the producers, etc. That night we slept for the first time all fair to good. Even babies Annemee remain calm.

Wednesday, January 15

After a beautiful drive through rural Ireland, is luek on such a trip, you can still see something, we arrive at Kitty and Tom. A lovely glass of red wine at 12.00 noon but tastes good, but more important to Karen Kitty tells a positive story about her situation. Her to say she had in October when she went to Killaloe for the CLT-therapy had no other treatment. Tom tells us that he had informed the month preceded in his surroundings at least 50 to 75 people what the chances are of permanent recovery from rectal cancer in a regular treatment of chemotherapy and possibly radiation. According to Tom had no one he had spoken (thus family) survived the five-year limit. For him and Kitty a reason to opt for CLT. Before treatment the tumor had a diameter of 10-12 cm with no metastases according to oncologists, or malignant. Kitty is in the same week as Karen, week of October 15, 2002, treated. In the first week she had little additional burden of everything, but in December she got a lot of pain and at Christmas was low and she could not close her bed by the great pain. However, she told Karen that she had used no pain medication. Since the first days of January it is a little better every day, Kitty feels no pain and felt her energy returning. I must say that although a very slender woman's healthy look and especially her eyes are lively and expressive. Not exactly an image of a cancer patient. Kitty said last week that her doctor had found that her tumor is only 1-2 cm. ordinary. Inquiries from doctors in the Netherlands yesterday, shows that this is a very special situation. Pity is that through all the hassles Kitty no longer can go to Dr. Carmody control and he does not want her and can speak. Even quite negative about CLT and the Porters were. But Kitty and Tom stressed that they think this is the situation he finds himself and his disagreement with the Porters and Ralph Moss. Kitty feels well, has great confidence and declares that she feels permanently cured.
This does Karen and Rinus still very good and a really good feeling, but we tired in the evening at 20.15 hours at the airport farewell. The next day at home in the Netherlands a lot, a lot happened, but I write about later this week. See follow your story, Karen.
