April 2003: The story of mr. B. The Moerman diet and vitamins and herbs and methylglyoxal for metastatic colorectal cancer - adenocarcinoma

March 16, 2003 written by Webmaster of this site:

Tumor Growth stops by addressing Moerman / Houtsmuller diet , extra vitamins and methylglyoxal at 75 year old man with metastatic adenocarcinoma ( cancer ).

B. January 2002 report to their GP complaining of abdominal pain, and simply feeling unwell. He received antibiotics for what the doctor thinks is inflammation. But three weeks later, the pain just gets worse and B is referred to an internist in a regional hospital. The doctor thinks there's an ulcer. There is an ultrasound in February 2002 and punctures.
The result is placed by the doctor as follows: "Mr. B you have cancer and you will never recover. We recommend any treatment on the grounds that your situation is hopeless and you better in recent months but some do. Chemo , no sense in your situation. You can always make a second opinion if you do still think somewhere else is a beneficial treatment. ".
In the diagnostic report shows later, these sentences:
"In the mesentery enlarged multiple echo-poor pathological looking lymphomas with a certain breedteas of 1 cm. PA punctiecytologie of mesenteric lymphoma: image fits with metastasis of colon cancer . "
Advice: "because of his general condition and the limited response rate, he is not eligible for systemic chemotherapy."

B. tells it all now - March 12, 2003 - with humor and perspective, but this result and the way it was communicated was a huge blow to Mr. B. and his wife.
B. on a follow advice. He calls the Daniel den Hoed for a second opinion. But there's a big disappointment. The doctor begins by asking: "What will you do? Well I sent my papers and I assume you will continue my studies and then give your opinion as a second opinion. Sir, I need you not to investigate further. We give you the same advice as in another hospital. You are terminally ill. Chemo will not help, there's even metastatic cancer of the lymph glands and you will never get better.
And within ten minutes B. is back outside.
The doctor would later say: B. They just send you into the woods. You're just too old to still money and energy to want to stop.

B. committed not resign. B. call Moerman Association and member and will get every month view, a journal of the Association Moerman. Through the Association Moerman, he enters with an orthomolecular doctor , start at Moerman / Houtsmuller diet, getting extra vitamins, lots of vitamins and is now in his own way, put it to work. B. tells me that from that moment he never took sugar and is really good to keep the Moerman diet. His wife just eat with him and soon they find that they both benefit. His children and his wife support him on all sides.
Nevertheless, the blood results in an increase in its CEA and it seems that the cancer does not really stop it.

May / June 2002 B. reads an article in an older view of my story and my struggle through and through he comes back my phone. I can still remember that B. called me last summer. What he said sounded far less dramatic than what I hear and read all of his medical report (B. has copies of everything and keep all medical coverage for). I remember that I found it strange that he no longer could be operated with such small tumors, etc. But now it is clear to me that just that many of the adenocarcinoma tumors and also the site of metastasis and uncertainty about the primary tumor therefore concluded that B. was incurable. In that telephone calls to B. methylglyoxal . Even though he had heard about and read on the site, but it would be something. I also told him when I really did not know.href = "methylglyoxal-an-overview-of-known studies and articles-of-methylglyoxal.html"> Methylglyoxal was and is purely an experimental treatment and there is little or no information about side effects etc. B. Decision consultation with its attendant physician based on an awareness statement there anyway to get started. And with me he will be also monitored by an oncologist in an academic hospital, since January 1, 2003 Now with two junior doctors now in vitro and animal research on the impact and effects of methylglyoxal.

B. starting early July 2002 with this approach in addition to his Moerman / Houtsmuller diet, additional supplementation and more so now the methylglyoxal.

Until November 2002, this approach does not give the desired result. B. Although physically quite unwell, his quality of life and continues to improve his way of eating and living healthy, showing a steadily rising blood levels CEA. From May 9 until November 16. However, did have a scan in October showed that the tumor metastases remained stable and even became a bit smaller. Late October B. increases the amount of methylglyxoal 4 x 10 ml. to 4 x 15 ml. per day. Everything in consultation with his orthomolecular doctor and oncologist. In December, the CA back to 16. So stable, in January 2003 for the first time ie 15 points better. In late February, research shows that the tumor metastases not easy to see / feel and that the CEA is now 13.
The accompanying oncologist confirms that he was surprised but pleased that goes so well with B.

And today, March 12, 2003 B. So tell me his story. He looks good healthy, radiates an enormous zest for life out. Over a year ago, he was very different. B. The beauty of his story is that he no chemo or radiation or whatever, and had his whole process is driven by his way of life, food and methylglyoxal . And B has no negative side effects have noticed the methylglyoxal. Critical note: B should have everything himself. He now pays around € 750, - - € 900, - per month. A small part he gets paid, but a year is almost nothing. When should health insurers now recognize that this approach of B. basically their money. B. his quality of life is much, much better. Major surgery or chemotherapy have not been conducted, an annual savings of tens of thousands of dollars and this guy just have them all out and pay. He can still do, but personally I find this all so unfair. Anyway it is the familiar story and hopefully, the Medical Association of Insured cancer patients do something with this in their lawsuits.

B. The story is hopefully for many years prosecuted and who knows how his heals B. adenocarcinoma with metastases. It would be a very special story.

We will keep you informed how things go with B.. Comments / questions to our temporary email please . I will send them to mr. B
