Training: naturopathy, iriscopie, emotional and energetic bodywork, Neurofeedback
My motivation to offer these coaching sessions for ' Cancer Topical ' comes from my desire to help people to choose a treatment that best suits them. For this it is necessary to be well informed about the possibilities of both the regular and the complementary medicine. It is my belief that an authentic choice – i.e. a choice that suits the values and experiences of the person – can lead to a better result.
I would like to tell something about my knowledge and experience in this field.
I grew up in England and graduated there as a biochemist. In that function, I have done research in the field of breast cancer. Through years of intensive talks with women I became convinced that the psychological factors of the women in question were important for the outcome of the treatment. At that time, was still here no attention for 1972.
There then followed a period of 15 years which I loved with qualitative market research in healthcare. Now living in Netherlands I have in-depth conversations with family doctors and specialists held about them motivations for their chosen treatment. This I developed a broad knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of mainstream medicine. This has led me to have trained in naturopathy and energetic broad medicine.
As a volunteer at a walk-in home for cancer patients, I have 4 years of experience in done with guiding people with this disease. In addition to a "sympathetic ear", I gave courses "Relaxation and inner strength".
At the moment I work as a Naturopath in my own practice. The bringing together of mainstream and alternative medicine, out of respect for both of them, is an important aspect ... I am affiliated with the Professional Association and recognised as such by the health insurers VBAG.
