After a number of times in recent years shown with a second opinion or doctors visit or in people's homes and at the request of a number of people I decided to myself also adding them to the available coaches of cancer-current. However I'm not like Marijke and Diana trained in coachingsvak nor a member of a professional association.  I still think if thoughtful coach can mean a added value for people with cancer who are looking for the best treatments. Firstly, of course, the Web site administrator by the experience as cancer-current. As a webmaster, I have over the years built up an enormous amount of contacts with people working in health care and specifically within Oncology. Secondly, I am self ex-kankerpatient, click here to read my story and also appeared in the documentary if necessary Cross, which aired in 2000 and 2001 via RTL.

Furthermore I have in my training and employment also much guidance work done and also supervision and intervision moderated on MBO and HBO training IW and AB to students.

In addition to the regular high school courses I have next to my work in child protection (observation group in an establishment in crisis and Put in daycare, total 8 years Noordhoorn Apeldoorn) MBO done IW, then a year HBO IW but switched to the Theatre school in Amsterdam and graduated there in 1984 as a lecturer with dramatic expression as an additional specialization audio-visual lecturer. Worked at L.O.K.V. within the Department, including the youth theatre, including as a teacher at various Mbos and HBO's Court At Nijmegen and in Middelburg. I have also worked in Apeldoorn as a Director/supervisor of a youth theatre company and had my own youth theatre group in Middelburg. For me it was a culmination working in a quarterly project as Director in a youth camp in New York (summer 1985) with which we have made with three people West Side Story and performed on a number of campsites with disadvantaged young people mostly from Harlem and Brooklyn.

As a teacher of drama I had always had a great interest for journalism and especially radio and television. Therefore I have journalism training In Tilburg done (Besides my work, was sometimes best heavy) and graduated there in 1996, but I already had cancer and this one has a career as a journalist at a broadcasting hindered me. I have a own media production company founded in 1989 and on my blog www.keesbraam.nl you can some of my productions, also some are aired on television, I've created view.

After the restoration of my cancer are so we started topical cancer-and I suspect that we are one of the most visited websites on cancer. (an average of 5000 to 6000 unique visitors come per day).

Because I notice that so many people who get diagnosed with cancer or facing a relapse or hear of doctors that there is no curative treatment within the regular Oncology more possible, while there still is in my view sometimes best, or simply because many people no longer see the forest through the trees, I've now decided to also make available to me as a coach. Under the same conditions as Marijke and Diana, see in left column.
