The Mission of cancer-news is to bridge the gap between regular and additional treatments to bridge and optimize the chances of cure and/or to increase the quality of life.

23 October 2011: Kees is also added to the offering of our coaches
From that mission, we want our knowledge sharing with cancer patients and their loved ones by offering assistance in the form of an informative conversation with a coach.
On the site of www.kanker-actueel.nl State for the most up-to-date information about topical treatments in cancer, both complementary and regular if in Belgium and Netherlands is now a concept for people who are looking for current regular and/or complementary treatment options. But there is so much nowadays that many people no longer know what to choose and what would be best for their. Also offers internet and often no help because there are lots of conflicting information to find. One site praises a certain treatment or medium, the other site creaks this off. And the truth is often hard to find on the internet. Emotions found above actual correct information
Cancer-topical. en pretends to be able to give the correct factual information. Kees Braam the webmaster behind www.kanker-actueel.nl has many contacts with specialists and research institutes and also with complementary working doctors and clinics at home and abroad. The editors also get through within – and foreign forums and peer support groups every day up-to-date information and is therefore well aware of the latest developments and the best available treatments. See the almost daily updated news coverage on the home page of our site. The coaches supported by the editors of cancer-the possibility therefore have topicalto cancer patients and their loved ones to point to life-prolonging treatments and resources for their personal situation proved.
A coach is a point of contact for people who arean independent conversation about several (additional) treatment options. The patient will be informed about this wide their own form of cancer then itself decide in following a treatment and a good choice to be able to make what treatments you want. You get in addition to oral conversation also information on paper so you can even read it at home at your convenience. Possible foreign treatments and ongoing trials in the Netherlands and abroad come also mentioned if relevant for your personal situation.
However, the coach will never take a decision for the patient! The choice is always up to the patient that itself will need to be motivated and will have to come into action. The three coaches who started 15 april 2009 v.a. all have extensive experience and training in supporting others and two of the three coaches have itself for years cancer (had) and thus can talk from their own experiences and their own choices.
