In this popular science book written describe two Canadian experts in the field of cancer favorable influences of nutrition on cancer. The book is divided into three parts. Part one includes an explanation of what cancer is tumor growth at the cell level, what is and how we can guard against us here. Everything is clearly described with explanatory tables and/or figures. In the second part they appoint the foods that have a positive effect. Attention to the origin of the foods, the phytochemical properties and composition and any cooking properties. The last part deals with the use of supplements, lifestyle advice and gives the optimal cancer diet. They end up with a bibliography, divided per chapter, and an alphabetic register in a very small font. The use of difficult words are explained in the text. All chapters start with a spell, saying or motto and end with a summary, in a colored hexagram. This book by the pleasant layout is suitable for anyone who is interested in this matter. Printed in two columns in a small, sans-serif.
