It's still good 19 years ago with Frank who first had surgery on a brain tumor, his mother told me. Read her email. Updated June 29, 2010
June 29, 2010:
Frank, 19 years ago for the first surgery on a brain tumor , was one of the first people that we put a story on cancer-current. In the early years was his mother, Marian, and I have much contact. Later that watered down because we were both busy and life went on and I honestly did not know how it went with Frank. To my surprise Marian sent me the following email. How wonderful to read. Thank you Marian and sent us some nice that Frank is going well.
Hi Kees,
It's been a while since we had contact. I was just on your site, and saw that the last update of Frank again in 2003.
It goes well with Frank (today is June 27, 2010). Frank is now 29 years. 19 years after his first brain surgery at age 10, when he had a grade 3 brain tumor, and in his 14th grade 4. This was followed by another third brain surgery, and now recently that ventriculostomi surgery and some operations because of his ankle fracture.
I send two recent photographs with it, not long after one month hospitalization made. Frank had in fact ended in December 2009 a double ankle fracture with many complications (wound infection) and operations, after which something went wrong in his head to drain. He was then still a ventriculostomi, a hole that allows the brain room to the third fluid to flow.
Of course he will still be orthomolecular therapy, and many healthy snacks that I make it with the blender.
Although the pictures are not so visible, Frank is the brain surgery and radiation he has had in the past have become disabled, and resides in an institution where he proper care, attention and gets business. It is sometimes a bit risky, so even by the sudden fracture of his ankle with unpleasant complications (sometimes by seizures). We do our best and continue to do so the people who care for him are very great!
Sincerely,
Marian
