Gastric cancer: Vaccination Program in gastric cancer and esophageal codenamed G17DT shows promising results in the total study group of 173 previously untreated gastric cancer and esophageal cancer patients. Median life went from 3.8 to 10.3 months and disease-free time tripled in patients whose vaccination would be successful. Article updated July 28, 2011

A combination treatment of surgery, chemotherapy and local hyperthermia significantly more 2 and 3 year survival in gastric cancer compared with surgery alone or surgery with chemotherapy alone distilled water given immediately after surgery. Also appeared in the group with significantly less leveruitzaaiïngen hyperthermia in addition to act than in controls. This shows randomized study in 156 gastric cancer patients.
