Iedje says:
Well this is the shed that I told you. That we are growing here for years with my parents and family and friends. We may look at the rear? At least I find them very nice. I think the best part of the house. You throw everything open and you're just in the middle of the fields to watch. It's so amazing that you just see the sun go down, really on the horizon.

I'll just open it.

When I say the word luck is that luck is the best I have. That it is not a continuous feeling of euphoria but a sense of self-advocacy, which gives confidence that you know the hits to absorb the wealth that you have the space to do that. The space with friends but also live.

In 1999, for the first time Iedje diagnosed with breast cancer. This was already spread, especially in lymph nodes 8. Iedje had surgery to remove her breasts but refused in order to be radiation or chemo nemen.en opted for a non toxic treatment continued. Iedje have remained under control in the hospital.

Iedje says:

Lettuce I think one of the most delicious salad out there.

It has been almost 10 years ago that when my breast cancer is detected and then there were already quite a lot of metastases, at least in the armpits.
For me it did not come out of nowhere but I discovered it myself, at least I discovered something. Hormone therapy works on hormone-sensitive tumors and I knew from the very beginning I had very light hormonally sensitive tumors. So to me that hormone therapy might actually only partly successful. So if I know I'll try it again in a non toxic manner.

Again showing her choice of a healthy lifestyle with a vegetarian diet to be successful. For until the summer of 2007 doing well with her. But it feel good to be back Iedje entices many issues to tackle at once, such as the renovation of the barn. This should stop because they are forced to re botuitzaaiingenobserved.

Because the radiation helped only temporarily, within a few months the symptoms and back pain, choose Iedje for treatment with hyperthermia and dendritic cell therapy in the Medical Center Cologne. If she gets additional infusions with extra vitamins and immune stimulants, and three days for a very low dose vaccination Endoxan in tablet form, the so-called T reg lymphocytes, which might interfere with work on the immune system off.

Iedje says:

The pain went away very quickly andb I must say that was the case when the radiation I had in November, the normal radiation, only the pain is just around mala gone but came back very quickly. Next infusion of immune stimulants Iedje also used to advise of Dr. Gorter Zometa botversterkend an agent.


Iedje says:
For my bones, I have a bisphosphonate. In the Netherlands, APD prescribed me and I had already checked on the Internet and was shocked by the many side effects. Besides it has also Zometa. Butconsultation with Dr. Gorter, we opted for Zometa and yes there are several possibilities but the investigations go deeper and deeper. And then Dr. Gorter did a study that has just been concluded and a scientific study showing that the operation was very good and the side effects were less, but even here there remain but a little less so I finally chose this, I also consulted with the hospital and I do not think they are necessarily negative.

Right now, summer 2008, doing well Iedje. She is therefore still behind its choice of a complementary approach including hyperthermia and dendritic cell therapy.

Iedje says:
Yes I am still completely behind my choice. From the first moment. Since 1998 the choice I made. Because I have never said I do not want regular. I am in control of my treatment in hospital, regular. Only I make for myself every developing a choice and my choice will always be complementary and my first entry is complementary rather than regular. For me, the alternative - complementary, so conventional treatments there that fit hyperthermia and dendritic cells. And then when I hear good arguments I can go along with it because it also less stressful and it stimulates your body to yourself to go to work and that is my life vision. Not only the cancer but as I stand in life. So I would not want anything else and can not actually ... yes it has to make. I would not want anything else.

Iedje her choices for a non-toxic approach where possible and if necessary additional conventional surgery, found good deal. The cancer shows little or no progression. And despite a somewhat lesser period in 2009 Iedje retains a life with a good quality of life and she still stands behind its choice of hyperthermia and dendritic cell therapy.

Iedje says:
From the first moment I've had those treatments, I am huge refurbishment. The pains in my bones were gone. I could walk and I felt good. After the first six months I felt stronger, although the reasons for guessing that one piece of bone is still extremely fragile. But I just felt stronger. And gradually you realize that you get more things. When I finished that, after 6 months and3 months back, I had a bit of a difficult period. First the euphoria, this is freedom. And I had my first in September next appointment and I did in August, a severe relapse. Lots of pain in my bones everywhere. I could almost physically out of my bed and mentally very tight .. My intestines, I was very sick. Each period of days and then it went over. Well after the local treatment, all the nausea disappeared. My bones were well again and after that "ganz Körper". Again fully fit. But if you look at it there is a gradual upward trend of mentally and emotionally and physically. Yes iik feel stronger again. I think that's really the root that runs through it.

Comment Text 9:
Iedje also remains true to its healthy lifestyle. For although the tumors can not grow, the cancer is not gone yet. Iedje for quality of life is vital.

Iedje says:
My goal is not cancer, not eendoelig, but the goal is quality of life. And when I mean cancer can be great, if I can stabilize the cancer, also great. I will not be so quick to begin chemotherapy for cancer to get. Because I do not believe at all. Let me say, once you're cancer free, but then it comes back as well. So I know that for cancer, whether you're doing chemotherapy or hyperthermia, or whatever, you have to do regularly because you can never lose all of your cancer, for every healthy person has cancer. And apparently your body is not able to own these cancers to attack. And the chemo story in layman's terms: as many cancers of course you try to destroy your own body so that, at least if you're complementary works, your immune system strong enough to attack it? But if the cancer could be stabilized if now then I take 70 or 80. With a very good life that you never sick and stuff. But maybe I could use some extra hyperthermia but I am for that matter, I'll wait a year to how this developed, but perhaps raises regularly, that you still need to come back for more to destroy cancers eventually the tumors to be addressed. If not i, that is something to get back to discuss Dr. Gorter emt or any of the other doctors to see what more we can do. And recently I'm also a Chinese health practice that works with acupuncture and herbs. Especially for my energy, because that I had the most trouble. I'm not that physical and that I could be so sick, very tired but no pain could be. And two days later had a lot of energy and then days later I could run out and that is stabilized by the acupuncture. And then you have different angles that you can run things worse and you can check from there as the support or encouragement can get.

Robert Gorter says:
With Iedje Abbbenhuis it's actually gone so that when they came to us she was in bad shape, and much pain to walk with a cane because of her bone metastases. These pains are treated her since we have completely gone away. When we gave her less often and is impressed that every time we saw her less often at some time complaints came. And the last time a scan was made in November 2009, there was again some progress can be seen in its skeleton, its bone metastasis. As we said, it can not be that as we take you half years or longer then you have not seen more frequently or at shorter intervals come.

Comment Text 10:
In September 2010 scans show that there is a stable situation compared to November 2009. Iedje is aware that they remain vulnerable through her bones weak and tries to do something about it.

Iedje says:

The last scan in September 2010 when I had two scans, an MRI and the first since 2007 a CT scan of my head. The situation is really as serious as in 2009 pretty much. This in itself is serious because the entire skeleton with holes sitting at two places in my spine and my neck, but there are no developments, there has been 8 months to see stability. So serious, but no further progression or minimal. And right now what I do is, after I in 2010 a number of local hyperthermia treatments in the MCC in Cologne had, I now supplements and nutrition and I continue to do so. And since three weeks, following surely the last CT scan, I became suddenly aware that the situation is still pretty tohc was serious, well before that too, but it comes in and suddenly it does anything to happen and you have a neurological deficit and then I do now opt for hormone blockers or inhibitors aromotase and I now had three weeks. So mik'm very curious about how the scans look like 4 months and 8 months. Because the process is still time to show whether or not work. And just like the first four months shows stability over 4 months I'm still doing it. And if the first 4 months there is a deteriorated than I choose to do back there hyperthermia.

Comment Text 11:
Iedje is now 12 years her breast cancer under control with good quality of life. She is also happy with the choices she has made. She still has cancer but in daily life, she feels no cancer patient.

Iedje says:
I recognize myself often in stories of people with cancer. Because at the moment I've got cancer and he knew I did not get going gone toxic. That means that my immune system was strengthened. And I'm just inspired by Moerman, who in the 50 evidence-based has shown that people in very late stages could cure or even a good quality of life could have. I also had no problems with it, of course, now I had a different purpose at the time, but I started walking, I had a much stronger social life, food and everything went better. So my life had changed and I felt so very good while as I have not felt. We are now much further, there are supplements which we did not know that we have at our disposal, so I think I'll sit in a better position to correct a non toxic manner. And if it really can not and you're in a precarious situation than we sometimes look very aggressive means to say such a process to stop. But if it is not preferred and that's something I really feel comfortable with and supported by research.
