Breast cancer: experiential story Lien

23 August 2011: last week, extended with spoken Lien. It is going to be very, very good with her. All markers are normal and she is preparing to write a book about her life. If that plays we will of course mention.

24 May 2011; Lien left me know that it is still excellent goes with her. A new scan has shown that there is no indication on a relapse of her breast cancer. Tumor markers nicely low and also her entire bodily and mental condition is excellent so gaily she told me on the phone. So a splendid result.

Update 24 August 2010:

Here the literally written out texts of the video of the experiential story of Lien and her husband Fred. See video here: http://www.kanker-actueel.nl/NL/Lien_komt_in_totale_remissie_van_in_de_lever_uitgezaaide_borstkanker_door_dendritische_celtherapie_en_hyperthermie.html

Lien comes in 9 months time (diagnosis January 2009 and started in the medical centre Cologne 20 april 2009) in a total remission of liver metastatic hormone-sensitive breast cancer by a dendritic cell therapy along with approach with hyperthermia and the femara and a Wood smuller diet and also healthy lifestyle.

Lien says:

Now when I look further a year then I may hèèl be glad that yes everything as good has ended and that everything has gone so well. And that in the new year 2010 I just my life can resume that I am happy again. That I have future again. That I can make with my family plans. Yes of course that is a good feeling that you can hardly describe. So beautiful is that.

Survive metastatic liver in Minister hormone sensitive breast cancer

Comment text 1:

Early 2009 to hear that she gets Lien in the liver metastatic hormone-sensitive breast cancer and has only a palliative treatment is possible.

Lien says:title here (7)

9 January last year in that I had to go to the bus and bus they made photos and they said to me: I think you have Gets a call to take pictures in Alkmaar. And yes that didn't look good. One had to first create a biopsy. They have also done and the week I had to back to the surgeon for the rash and when I was told that I had breast cancer. And then I thought yet, so positive as I am, I thought of: OK, then goes off my chest and then I thought OK I can live with themselves, because then we just turn on. But unfortunately after that fact and after surgery there was created a scan or when it became apparent that further metastases were and I had gotten in my liver metastases.

Fred says:title here (3)

And there we were told that she was terminally ill. The surgeon said: we can stop this, maybe get some what slow down but it's not heal. You're told there was terminally ill.

Comment text 2:

Lien and her husband go directly after the diagnosis in search of the best treatments and do a second opinion in the Anthonie van Leeuwenhoek hospital in Amsterdam.

Fred says:

We had heard that it was a hormone-sensitive tumour in Alkmaar was so yes we had initially also thought are there perhaps also other treatments. We had of course looked a bit on internet already own everything that was for sale, what treatments were there. And so what you hear from people. But well the medical specialists will also know that myself but that was also the reason that we went to the AvL. We thought We'd still want a second opinion to be sure that we are the good direction. And who had a very different vision on the approach to the problem than in Alkmaar.

Lien says: title here (2)

Yes because she says what she saw on those scans, because we had taken, they found that it is not necessary to start with chemo. Her vision was that they could do that if it was still worse. But they found it not bad enough and they suggested going to start first with a hormone treatment and that you always can still pass on a chemo treatment. And when did she make still photos of the lungs and bones and was clean for the rest all happy. And when we started to a hormone treatment, Femara.

Comment text 3:

On the advice of her friend goes Lien also looking for additional treatments because Lien cannot just accept that she is incurable. Together they roam off internet.

Lien says:

When we went to sit behind the computer together and then she said: I have read something about the wood smuller diet that is something for you. That should be your also going to try. And when we looked out and then I thought that I'm going to do. And then I saw all of those video images and then I thought: what is this? All those people are cured by a treatment in Cologne? Well I've watched it twice and when I knew it all. If something can cure me then this is it.

Fred says:

When I came home in the evening, she was thrilled with. We have looked on that site and I together when there was also thrilled, so I thought to make appointment. When we have an appointment made for equal ....?

Lien says: 20 april

Fred says:

20 april was the first day that we came here and had a consult on 20 april we with Dr. Gorter. He has explained exactly what he was going to do us all. Explain how it work went. Jip and Janneke, just draw it in simple language he has explained what happened here. We have even thought about it and we have done the first afternoon equal treatment.

Comment text 4:

Lien feels better physically and mentally the months on it quickly and also her tumor markers bags, although this probably also been influenced by the Femara.

Lien says:

The first time the tumor markers were in the AvL 135. After 14 days treatment in Germany they were already half less to 63 and 2 months later they were already normalized. My tumor markers are already few months very normal.

Comment text 5:

A scan in August 2009 confirms Lien her good sense and shows that some tumors in the liver are gone and others are diminished drastically in size.

Robert says:title here (4)

Basically everything here are dark spots that are metastases. And that you see that was in March of this year. So that was gorgeously say 6 months, 5 months ago. And the scan now. There are a number of disappeared. And who are yet to see are no longer in centimeters size, but just look here that is 4 mm., 3 mm, 5 mm, therefore 0.4 cm. 5 Here. Or they are no longer see if larger that 2, 3 cm. were are now mm.So that's a great big step forward.

Comment text 6:

Lien is pleased with the good outcome. Yet she tells not to her oncologist in Dendritic Cell therapy plus Netherlands that they also get hyperthermia in Cologne. .

Lien says:title here (7)

No that they know not. I've made a choice in there for myself. Because I heard stories that not all specialists be pleased that you go Gorter. Why that I leave at their. That's their thing. But I was very positive about the treatment of Dr. Gorter. I had 100% trust erin that I had to be there and that I be completely cured go there again. And I felt not responsible for to go to a specialist in discussion to explain why I now choose for Dr. Gorter. So I've taken that responsibility itself. And I wanted that discussion not because I have such a thing also it is what I do with my life, my responsibility, my life with my body. So I'm not that discussion started and so to Cologne they know not that I've gone too.

Comment text 6:

Lien will experience the treatments in Germany not as stressful.

Lien says:

The treatments, the local is doing very well. For me that is not stressful. And the total hyperthermia. I was very tense for the first time because you would not know what happens to you when your body is brought to a fever of 39 degrees but I can very well. I am not nervous. I also find it not very. At the end you gonna get it get very hot but then helps Fred me always very good and the staff around me is very loving and cools me off ever. It is very good to do for me.

Comment text 7:

It continues to go well with Lien and they almost forget that she has cancer.

Lien says:(here title 5)

I feel very good. In fact, when I'm home and am not here, I'm going to take the 3 weeks hither, then I forget sometimes just that I am sick ... I feel so good. And in all respects, physically, inside and especially mentally. However, because it does a lot with you if you get to this. But last time I feel mentally very well. Even I feel happy again. Yes delicious.

Comment text 8:

Lien used alongside the treatments in Cologne and the Femara no other medications. Though she follows the wedding Houtsmulllerdieet.

Lien says:

I follow the Houtsmullerdieet. Yes. I find that to be very important. I am a little startled when I got this disease. And when Dr. Gorter explained how much sugar you me when I am so startled and I've been digesting suddenly leave everything. No candy, no cake, nothing more, just more the bietensappen, the wortelsappen, lots more salads. Yes I have that is customized with the wood smuller diet

Comment text 8:

End of december 2009 shows a scan no visible tumors more.

Eloy says: (here title 6)

What we are getting right here are highlights, the more important images of the patient alright. The first is we are going to the liver. ......Liver totaly clear. The image show that there is a normal liver right here

You can see everything normal. Then we go to a lower level. Everything looks normal totaly. Due to the images we can say she react after the treatment with the positif dendritische cells.

Comment text 9:

Lien free cancer clinical seems. Her oncologe is also happy for her but because she does not know that Lien is treated also in Cologne that she thinks this is due to the Femara.

Lien says: (here title 7)

11 January I had a telephone appointment. Her reaction was quite positive and she found it also very great. Was very glad it all went so well and she was very positive about it. And I have therefore asked, that scan there were metastases to see? And they therefore confirmed, no there are no metastases to see more. There are just somethings rest derogations and derogations are what scar tissue that rest than what is yet to be seen but that can advance no harm she said. And for the rest, she was very happy. Also that it went so well and everything yet it was exited. She has not asked what I used besides the AvL. I got the feeling that they so think Femara is able to take away all these metastases. That feeling I got.

Comment text 10:

A scan June 2010 confirms the good outcome of december 2010. Lien is thus in 9 months time come in a complete remission of metastatic breast cancer in the liver therefore sees the future in optimistic Lien.

Lien says:

As regards the treatments I continue to go to Cologne to Dr. Gorter. That is increasingly being phased out. Now we have 1 x per month. And last year I received 7 times dendritic cells. I get in March this year and in september the dendritic cells again. And for the rest I build that further in Cologne.

And as regards my life: I always worked as a representative but because of my arm, all my lymph glands are removed, I have a armpit toilet so that work no longer had, I can do. I can not do any more with my arm heavy work. I can in the home an hour a day really do things and then I have nothing more to do with it because then I get pain on my arm goes up and my arm. So for the rest of my life has gotten another twist. I was a whole grievous workaholic and studied. And now I fill my day in with other things where I had no time for this. Now it is for me to get up, delicious cappucino drink, my newspaper, my social life building, nice road. I can so do without that I need to work much more. And that gives a lot of feeling of satisfaction in a different way to look at other things still stand now. Yes that makes me so good.
