March 2007: Marco deceased in late February 2007 after another relapse.
March 2007In December 2006 after his blood was not good it has deteriorated rapidly with Marco. To my great sorrow, I knew Mark and his wife personally, Marco deceased late February 2007. He has fought so and was always very optimistic but ALL - Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia is a cancer that it seems almost impossible to definitively cured after initial treatment if a relapse occurs. So it was with Shifra , so it was with Freek, another guy we knew via mail and that his mother told us, so it was so now with Marco. All very sad.
