October 11, 2009: Things are going well with Mr. W. The TACE treatments with systemic Xeloda hit so well that a new scan showed that no cancer is more to observe. So for the second time, Mr W. in a total remission by TACE. Nice news for famlie W. This woman wrote us are:

Dear Kees,

Below as an update of our personal situation.
Last Wednesday we had returned to the hospital where W another stomach examination was waiting. We went out there with the expectation that the latest reports from Frankfurt would be confirmed, a smaller tumor than in June and no activity. But to our great surprise and that of the doctors there was no longer visible tumor in the stomach.
So for the second time and clinical cancer after three TACE treatments, this time, on the advice of Vogl and in consultation with the doctor here, in combination with Xeloda.

August 12, 2009:

Unfortunately yet another relapse occurs among Mr. W. But immediately, treatment with TACE with Dr. Vogl and resume the last scan showed that the tumor had shrunk again. Here the update as famlie who wrote to me. We'll keep you informed and hopefully it works just like two years ago to eliminate the tumor.

August 11, 2009:

For the second time ......
In June this year we, in a stomach-control study, told that another tumor in W. his stomach. After half year clinical cancer to have been a very poor prognosis after more than two years ago, this was of course hard. You keep in mind that it may recur, but this stop you away, it can also stay away years!
Luckily there was soon after this message a scheduled appointment for control scans in Frankfurt Dr. Vogl. The treatments, TACE, were the first worked so well, so we do not have to think after what the next steps would be. During that first appointment was immediately ordered and could cure a W. After the scan, and their discussion immediately treated. Again, once a month to Frankfurt for TACE treatment.
After consultation between the doctor and Vogl was further decided that a cure in tablet form next to it, so that courses in Germany, hopefully even more successful.
Of course we hope for a continuation of the success in 2008 and the results of the first course are encouraging for the near future.
