Spreads, snacks and drinks, useful tips.
Basically eat wheat bread or wholemeal bread (preferably sourdough). No white bread.
Whole grain porridge with soy milk and raisins / fruit pieces.
Use butter (thin lubricated). No margarine, no special diet margarine (high in trans fatty acids Valstar).
Siege of: fat cheese, tahini (sesame paste), apple / pear syrup from food store (without added sugar), English marmalade (without added sugar), cooked egg (preferably soft cooked), liver, pieces of fruit or eg tomato / pepper, etc. as but no meat and no sugar.
Cottage cheese with muesli or fruit pieces (do not like yogurt, but dextrorotatory biogarde). Possibly with some honey.
Notes are permitted and even good according Houtsmuller. Walnuts, almonds materials, such as hazelnuts (nuts reason is that vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids). No peanuts and corn.
Fruit is always good. Especially red fruits like strawberries, cherries, grapes, berries, etc. Especially recommended fruits: citrus, pineapple, grapefruit, kiwi, melon, papaya.
Whole grain crackers with low fat cheese, english marmalade, tahini, etc. (see tips for bread.)
Drink:
Fruit and vegetable juices are good (see tips for bread meals)
About the days back at least five cups of green tea is recommended.
Buttermilk, Vifit, biogarde, but no milk (too much fat) Red wine. Up to two drinks per day is recommended by Houtsmuller and Valstar.
