How does this site and tips on how to use the search function.

Past six years we have worked hard to get the site more clearly. If you find errors please give us through so we can recover. The site functions as described here.

How to find the information you need on our new website?

With a different outlook and slightly changed menu structure we hope even more obvious and easier to provide information on recent developments in treating cancer. We do not pretend that the website is complete and no errors so appreciate your comments, criticisms and comments welcome. redactie@kanker-actueel.nl . As each new additional information is welcome.

You can search three different ways:

1. By clicking on the topics on the homepage, see blue bar on top left and top right of the header of the site page.
Basically you are in three to five clicks of the information you are looking. This type of search is best suited for general information or an initial orientation. Some information is only for OPS members , but that comes when we ask for your password and OPS can get direct access it. Those under OPS and password to access it will first have to register as OPSlid.

2. By Sitemap clicking and scrolling through them. Many articles are listed in a sitemap introductiezin the core of the article summary.

3. By keyword, the search function.

This type of search is more suitable for finding specific information. Using the search function searches for a keyword or keyword you specify in the titles of articles and topics.
If you type in a word to search by subject search engine will search only in this word all the headers / subjects of the information on the site. If you search through extensive searches then throughout the body text searched for the given word.

Forum topic search in forum topics, forum extensively searched in all text within the forum.

It is important that you have good, clear keywords entered. Type the word cancer, you will get shown around the whole site. Type the word breast cancer, you get the titles of all articles on your screen where this word appears in the header. By clicking on the titles of these articles click you can choose to read articles.
Because breast cancer is still a very general term, the first information via the method of finding cancers - breast and then further, more quickly. For a specific topic, such as hyperthermia is the fastest way to search the information you want. Try using the search function is always clear key to enter.
