Wim phone: OK. Do you have any idea when this will happen? OK.
Wim says: Yes, I was a blood donor in 1975 and have discovered that I was Hepatitis B carrier in 1986, I had clearly impaired liver function, and I was sick for a few months but that's died down again. It actually belonged to an internist in the chronic liver inflammation. That the liver functions were not quite right and so was more fatigue due and as such I have certain things that I ate some tasty snacks that are less well tolerated by.
But in 2004, the liver functions and more disturbed when one is to go look and then it was discovered that I had liver cancer.

Wim says: When is 2 / 3 of my liver removed. That was a serious operation but afterwards I stood up relatively well and overcome. Wim still takes part in a study with an experimental chemotherapy and a cholesterol-lowering agent. But after three cycles of chemotherapy shows this experimental treatment is not to catch on partly because Wim in the placebo group was classified.

Wim says: I had no benefit from the chemotherapy. Then told me it does not look good and we think you have a few months to live, not years.

Wim and Riekie can not resign now that Wim fast death and look for other life-prolonging options. Eventually they end up in Germany in Cologne Medical Center in the Dutch physician Dr. Robert Gorter.

Wim says: I've never really felt sick, so anything you can grab grab you. And they do not help that is just almost impossible. That you do not accept it because it is so. I feel nothing. Have you okay? But a little later you see that it grows and then you accpeteren but still you do not want to resign, you're going to fight it.

Dr. Robert Gorter still sees possibilities and he suggests to first start with Newcastle disease virus, followed by vaccination with dendritic cells in combination with hyperthermia.

Wim said on Newcastle disease virus: When we started when Dr. Gorter has assessed my situation and he suggested himself for about two weeks of vaccination with Newcastle disease virus to apply. That would happen every day, weekends only if we skip one day and that was intravenously the first week and after that time was a small portion also inhaled. We needed every day to Cologne matter if you had to stay in a hotel here, but we have chosen to go to Cologne for the day and the day we took the vaccine and that it was used by experts at home. That the approach in the Medical Center Cologne is working with Wim shows a scan after 9 months shows that his liver is still no recurrence was seen in lung tumors, and there is no question of growth and stability. Furthermore, the cut surfaces clean and they have the lymph nodes were examined and cleaned so it was hoped that all evil was gone.
Riekie says: We also have the material taken from the second lung because there were still active in tumor cells and dendritic cells, which is used to make.

Riekie says:
The stress is over. He has no more trouble. He has no medicine for it. So it's just fine
William says:
The comments in Rotterdam again very hopeful. They used to be reserved but still it is increasingly confident in this situation. And last week I found him much more enthusiastic than the previous times. The last time he was a little more conservative. For he now began to talk about it as well continue beyond five years we need not even have to run the scan while he also said there latenw e but not too much to anticipate anything but I heard him say not one year ago or do not dare think. So I found him, so he was really positive about the situation at present and probably future. They find it anyway and very encouraging.

But I have unfortunately no solution.

We have submitted everything what the situation is now. Not for nothing that it really would have been. In February, the results of the scan well, the last scan, I have not taken, it was for that time. But a year before had been a process of someone who had undergone treatment and was therefore rejected. My situation was similar. They did not have to pay and I got zero on the petition.

It now looks as though surely Wim finally cured of a primary liver cancer in the lung metastatic stage IV, and they obviously have never regretted their choice for the Medical Center Cologne.
William says:
If you go there you know you do not advance. Nothing ventured nothing gained and to wait and see what it brings. But keep this in advance not possible. That does not mean that it will work for everyone. That will be every man for himself off roads because I take the trouble I take the risk, because no one can guarantee anything, but that is not regular. But, Dr. Gorter did not. He has nothing guaranteed. He has promised, we will have our committed, he will still be possible but he did not say you're ready. But so far it seems awfully positive.
Riekie says:

William says: and successful
Riekie says, and successful. But so we do not hand. That remains to be seen.
William says: We're very glad we did that, it is very clear.
